For what its worth, I feel for you guys that had to sell your trucks. That being said, I found out a long time ago that selling things off is rarely the answer. Losing one to a wreck or fire is one thing. Losing one to pay bills is another. The bills keep coming. Truck or not. But I feel for you...
I take pride in my Super Duty and like to keep it as shiny as a new penny. I usually get it washed outside Walmart by the local Boy Scouts, Field Hockey team, etc. Sometimes I will hit the car wash. But this weekend, in an uncharacteristic burst of ambition, I figured I would save the money and...
Uh...the guy lost 23 years of his life. And not 8 hours a day for 5 days a week. In prison. 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. For 23 years. What a waste. :(
Well, apparently you didn't know all the rules, and you didn't get a ticket...so it could be worse. The officer could have seen some real nasty stuff and didn't want to see that stuff happen to you. I would chalk it up to experience, maybe re-read the local boating and small craft laws, and call...
Head over to your friendly local Ford dealer. One of the bands inside one of the tires is faulty. They have a computer they attach inside, drive it for a while, then know which sensor is on the fritz. All warrantee. No big deal. Good luck with your truck and welcome aboard.
That 450 probably has a 4.88 rear, or a 4.30. The Chevy and the Dodge are probably running 3.73's or 4.10's at best. Not that they arent' impressive trucks, but if you even up the rears you even up the trucks. Lets have the 3 pull the trailers with all things being equal, including the amount of...
Mine just turned 29,000 this weekend. Was back to the dealer once for a re-flash for the removal of passive regeneration [no longer will go into regen @ idle] and that was last fall. I've rotated the tires 3 times, changed the oil + filter every 4-4500 miles, 1 air filter, 2 sets of wiper...
Try running a ground wire to the switch and see if it works. Ground for switch could be bad. I had some electrical gremlins with my last truck. I know how frustrating it can be.
My old Stihl bucket saw works great. I bought a Stihl Farm Boss a few years back and its useless. I'm not saying they don't offer a good product. Just going by my experience. Your results may vary, as they say.
I haven't had alot of luck with Stihl. I have 1 old saw that was my dad's that still runs. Its a Jonsered. Don't even know if they still are in existance, but that saw has been thru hell and still comes back for more. My old Stihl is still in use, but my newer 1 just seems cheap and...
Don't buy a generator thats putting out 30 amps if your one appliance needs 30 amps. It will be maxed all the time. IMHO you could find a used one on ebay, etc at 50 amps and have all the juice you need and still have a few bucks left over. Onan or Honda. LP. Just my .02
Thats odd; I heard it was called the "DuraStroke". I believe its an in-line 7 cylinder with 3 sequential turbos, 4 egr valves and 2 DPF's. The transmission could be the big story, though. Its an Allison / Aisin hybrid that will have 3 reverse gears and 1 forward speed. I can't wait to see the...
From what I've seen, the better they do, the more help they need...like help buying a car, help buying insurance, and help with gas money. On most days, I feel like a human ATM. :lmao Congrats, Mike.
What kind of a project was the install on this intake? I want to swap mine out but it looks like a nitemare to get to everything. [sorry about hi-jack]
