Also keep in mind that the F-450 has a slightly lower horsepower rating than the F-250/350 trucks do. 25 horsepower less If I remember correctly.

That 450 probably has a 4.88 rear, or a 4.30. The Chevy and the Dodge are probably running 3.73's or 4.10's at best. Not that they arent' impressive trucks, but if you even up the rears you even up the trucks. Lets have the 3 pull the trailers with all things being equal, including the amount of fuel in the tanks, and see who stops for fuel first. :innocent

If that was a 450 it was an unfair comparison. The Chevy for sure was not a class 4 truck, because they use that butt ugly pretend I am a medium duty body on their class 4 trucks. So, the axle ratios were probably similar. Besides, I would bet that Ford would be smart enough to think of the things that could make people cry foul.
