    Tire size question

    I've got 285 BFG's on mine and they hit the bumper. I had to space it about 4-6 washers I think. Edit- F250's have the Dana 50 and F350's have the Dana 60 front ends. The 285's may not hit with a Dana 60.

    toyo open country tires

    I would agree with that. Toyo is an off brand of Kelly which makes terrible tires. I have had no luck with Toyos's and neither have my buddies. Some may think they are ok, but I don't.

    4.30 gears/mileage

    I'm not sure since you have a 38's. If your truck was stock and you put 4.30 gears in you would loose mileage. What mileage are you getting currently? With 38" tires you should gain mileage, but I am totally not sure.

    Running issues after straight piping.

    You mentioned you had the new exhaust welded in. Did you disconnect the battery when welding? I have known of a few heavy trucks that once welded had blown a few sensors.
