We were going through some old pics and found some of my first big truck. 96reg cab XLT gasser. Only had it for 6-8 months, then found myself jobless and worried about payments. Damn I wish I would have kept it. Would be a nice toy to have around now!

Very depressing :( :( :( :( :(
I miss my square looking truck.

Thats a nice looking truck. Looks like my 97 gasser. Those trucks are alot of fun, but the gas mileage does suck.

I swear I had that in '89 with a inline 6 (4.9L) 5spd. Sweet rig. At 200k some knucklehead in an Expedition turned in front of me, got t-boned, and totaled 2 fords. Maybe he was a SDD guy, because when I told him I felt like I'd just lost my best dog he started crying (big dude, it was worrisome) and got me a friggin' Dodge for a few days while I got settled. Wonderful rig that Ford. I really loved it dearly!

I got most of ya beat, but it was in the days before PC's, digital cameras, and flatbed scanners..

My last Ford pickup before my Super was a 1974 F100, 240cid inline six, three-on-the-tree, vinyl seat covers and floor mats, no rear bumper, no radio, barely a vehicle...

Dad boght it new for $2400., I bought it from him about eight years later for $800, drove it about three years and sold it BACK to him for $500 with a new set of Goodyear Wrangler AT's on it... Dad drove it another four or five years, then the cab mounts rotted and we had to mount the cab on wood blocks so it didn't bind up the clutch bellcrank...

last I knew, it was a junk trailer for the old boneyard down by the fairgrounds...

I had a 69 F100 that I purchased new, a 1974 F250 that came with a 390, and I built a 428 for it. I miss that truck. Both were fun to drive, but fuel mileage was not the best. We still have a 93 F350 turbo Diesel idi, dually that is a good work truck, but fuel mileage is also not very good. All in all, I like the PSD the best. It is built to tow, and gives great mileage compared to the gas trucks. Plus it is new. It will be a year old April 28th. It has just over 5000 miles on it now.
