Now we are talking about the SS braided lines that go from the frame to the engine and then steel up to the valley, right?
I inspected the returns through the selector valve and up over tanks last July and all was fine. We have about 9,000 this season on B100 homemade.

Glad ya got her!
I had the same thing, right after reassembling the engine it just quit. A little reasearch and I found which injector it was, pulled it tore it apart and found nothing. Put it back together and she fired right up and been running ever since. I guess not matter how hard you...
Why would you change out those lines? Where did you find that information?
They are perfecetly fine for B100.
I have been running B100 in my 97 since August of 2005 and NO PROBLEMS.
Stock filter is fine.
As for cleaning out, thats a WHOLE LOT OF WORK dropping tanks and such.
I would ramp up...
Hmm, maybe I am reading this wrong....
Swap (trade away, get ride of, dump, trash, put in river taping a quarter to it so you can say you threw something away) a 5.8l for a (obtain, get, replace with) 7.3l.

BIG HAMMER AND TORCH!
I am on my second ones and need replaced again! Minor consolation, they are lifetime warr. Just wish they would last a lifetime! Guess the 8 1/2' plow puts a little extra on them.
I suspected mine when I was hearing a popping when brake applied at low speed. Jacked up...
Most soy based BD at 100% (B100) 37 deg f and clouding starts. 32 f or so and filter pluging can occur. This is if you get good fuel. Crappy fuel #'s might be higher.

I taste every batch of Biodiesel I make! Nothing wrong with that!
Check the HPOP lines that go from the pump to the heads You have to clean around them and then watch em while engine is running.
The orings can seep. The more rpms the more oil.

Use the correct sealer for the gasket. There is no oil pan gasket actually. It is international part number 442 sealer. You will think the old pan is welded on the engine, it is a bear to get off.
If he does not have a down pipe, consider beating the crap out of the fire wall so when he adds...
Biodiesel!
Way safer, no modification to the truck, if you add another diesel veh your set.
If you sell your truck and get another you either have to remove the kit and make it fit on the next one, or buy another kit!
I have seen some pretty nasty WVO that I would not even think of putting in a...
Take a day off!
Think about the wiring harness(s) you had to disconnect and reconnect while doing the engine swap.
Unplug VC connects and look at them with a magnifine glass, make sure those pins are not burnt or bent of something.

Dyno'd the wifes 97 at Longmount..

Was very pleased with the numbers.

Hmm, i suppose if ya got the time but I will bet by the time you find and purchase the parts you can take it some where and have it done of just repalce it with one off an abulance.

Bowl removal about 1/2 hour first time. No special tools to remove bowl.
The mounting bolts that hold the bowl to the block may be very tight. you may have to use a 1/2 breaker bar to get them broke loose. Be prepared to replace the rubber lines, just pickup about 12-18" of fuel line as you...
The segment you saw on "Trucks" was very poorly done. With as much time as they devoted to it, they did not do a very good job. The system they were using has been know to catch fire. It utilizes plastic tanks! In addition, they did more of showing the system than the process.
So my...
