Helping a guy at work replace his oil pan on his 96 cc dually 2wd stick. with that said i have a few questions
1) is there any thing else that should be replace while the whole motor is pulled (already replacing steering box, starter, PS lines)
2) is it true that the 7.3 oil pans have an average life of 10 years then the rot out? (guy at ford knew P# off top of his head, said after 10 years they all rot out.)
3) any problem we should expect to run in to while pulling the motor & trans to get to the oil pan.
4) if we got a reuseable gasket from ford (for 99 and up 7.3's) will that work with the 96 setup or do we need the old style gasket?
