Altenator rebuild

Howdy All,
I have an old altenator off of my PSD and was wanting to rebuild it myself but with more amperage. Anyone done this before?

Hmm, i suppose if ya got the time but I will bet by the time you find and purchase the parts you can take it some where and have it done of just repalce it with one off an abulance.

I haven't heard anyone doing it themselves, but ya might hook up with an Alternator Shop and see what they can do.

Had mine rebuilt by then YEARS ago, so it has been a while, but that is good, means they do a good job
