Sorry if this has been discussed the Search button isn't working for me.

Now that the truck is running it appears that I have sprung a leak behind the turbo, I suspect the actuator for the EBPV is leaking.

Is there a rebuild kit for the actuator? or some way to plug it up and take it out of the system?

Where is it dripping from. Is it dripping on the ground in the center of the truck from the center of the trans cover ? It may be from the fuel you lost when you had the FPR apart. Unless it is motor oil. A.R.

It's oil, I had it cleaned up pretty good after my other problem, took it for a short drive to see how the ol' thing was running. Got back and popped the hood, oil on the turbo and in the valley. I had fixed the leaks when I did my turbo back in July. Mainly the lower turbo seals. and she stayed dry, but last month did the waterpump/coolent boss mod and noticed just a little oil in the valley.

When I took the test drive, I had alot of oil in the valley and dripping down the back. I will know for sure tomarrow when I start tearing into it.

Been reading on TDS some old post about taking the guts out of the actuator and plugging it. My EBPV has been unplugged for awhile I suppose it's time to gut it too..

HERE is an article with pictures on the EBPV removal including gutting the actuator. Its written for the 99-03 models but the basic mechanics of it apply to our models too.

Thanks for the offer Rick, I got-r-done. Started at 2pm got done at 6:30, I now have a gutted EBPV and got the actuator sealed up tight.
