Love my MazdaSpeed3...34mpg if I keep my foot out of the turbo (sounds familiar huh?) and filling up even with premium cost 1/3rd of the PSD.

Miss my truck when I feel the need to intimidate someone though

yeah, what i would give for a audi A4 tdi quattro wagon! or maybe an A6, but its only money...

don;t get me wrong, if ford got its act together and did a diesel focus, i would probably drive that too.

not gonna sell it, just replace it as a regularly used vehicle..

I understand. I drive a 95' Explorer to work and can do it for about a 50% cost reduction of what the truck will do. When I need a truck I use the truck, when I need to get somewhere efficiently I take the Explorer, if it doesn't really matter if we get there then we take the 05' F-150:watchout

Ditto, I've been running a 97 intrepid back and forth to work for about 8 months now. The Trep gets 30 mpg, the truck gets 16, I drive 180 miles round trip....... Thats about 18 bucks a day for the Trep and 40 for the truck. The truck leaves the driveway for truck reasons. Ran the wheels off of it during hunting season and hauled a couple cords of wood down the mountain with it also but other than that it sits.

If I had the choice, my PSD would sit too. We only have two vehicles for two drivers (the 500 and the PSD). Wife drives 35 miles to work so she drives the 500 and has to fill up once a week. I drive 20 miles to work in the PSD, and have to fill up every 7-10 days. If I didn't have the 5th wheel, the truck would probably be gone in favor of a Taurus, F150, or Grand Marquis.

JL - Had I not converted my '97, it would be too expensive to run these days. Fuel here is $3.799. There has to be a limit to what we are willing to pay to keep them as daily drivers. I fully understand your decision and am glad you're not selling it.
