Same thing I been saying all along about running straight pipe on a diesel too.Atleast It felt like my old 97 had lost some power.

Diesels don't like backpressure. Take any restriction out of the exhaust system.Toss the muffler or use an open muffler and make your diesel happy.:D

I dont know if I believe that logic.Both my 97 I had straight piped and both felt slower after that.Put the muffler back on and all was better.:tounge
