I have a 2013 F250 Diesel with the integrated Brake Controller. I recently converted my 5th wheel trailer brakes over to Electric over Hydraulic with a Hydrastar pump. The OEM brake controller has a selection for the EOH trailer brakes however it does not seem to work any different than the standard Electric brake mode, please advise.
Thanks
Steve

That was my findings too. There must be a difference otherwise why have a separate mode.

I think it has to do with the Gain setting. For instance; a setting of say 8 in elec. mode might be the same as an 6.5 in eoc mode,
as far as electrical output goes. That was my experience. I had a fifth wheel with eoc now I have a 5'r with all elec.

Can you confirm that the brake controller is working? Your hydraulic pump should make a noise when you press the brake pedal. You will need someone to stand near the pump to confirm. My 2022 module did not recognize my electric over hydraulic brakes on my Grand Design Momentum. Ford dealer replaced the module and all is good. Just a heads up: the whole dash has to come off to replace the brake module.
