Smell fuel in A/C at idle

You need two #202 Viton o-rings Simple change. Remove the drain valve via the four torx screws. Remove valve. Remove o-rings, install new o-rings. Re-install valve. Check for leaks. That's it in a nut shell. I just did this a few weeks ago just to do.

gauges, ball joints, and tranny fluid

Sorry, let me clarify. Some say that since the Universal ATF is Mercon and Mercon V rated, it should not be used in our trans, which only calls for Mercon, and specifically states NOT to use duel rated fluid. The Torque-Drive is rated Mercon but not Mercon V. I have also read that it is...

gauges, ball joints, and tranny fluid

If you mean this port, when I did gauges, i lost maybe a drop or two of fluid. The next year I did the fluid change. I know this has been hashed many times before, some say you can use the Amsoil ATF, some sa no to. I used Amsoils Torque-Drive, and have had no problems at all. With the...

    Thermostat Neck Bolts

Hello again. After changing the water pump, and hunting down leaks, I pretty much rounded the three bolt for the thermostat neck. I have the Dieselsite billet neck, if it matters. What bolts do I need to replace? I know I could take one to Homedepot, but I wanted to see if someone knows...

I Had the same problem. If I kept pushing the buttons, for several miles, on-off-on-off, it would work at some point. I bought the switches from eBay for the steering wheel, installed and all has been well for me now.

    Cross Drilled Rotors

Have just done a lot of searching on brakes, several people seem to not like cross drilled. Several on the board, who I am sure will chime in, have the cryo powerslots and love them. I plan to do them at somepoint with Hawk pads. Look for BamaSixGun. He has them on his truck and does a...

Who do you use for Oil Analysis???

I use Blackstone. Each new report has the previous reports with it. It is detailed but they also give their impression. Now, nobody shot me for this, but if you mention you are from TDS, they give you a discount, 18 instead of 20.

    BioDiesel and O-Rings

Thanks for the replies. As of now I have been running B10 for the past few months. Same cost as regular diesel, but it has bio, more lubrication, and an other benefits you want to say. Hopefully the dealer will step up to B20 soon.

    Spare Tire Lowering Contraption

I remember when I bought my truck, I did not have the spare or holder. When I saw that I needed a key, which was not included, I took a pair of pliers and pulled the "lock" off of the spare contraption. Was not too tough. It has been awhile, but I would see if you can remove the black...
