    Took a page out of Bama's book and pulled the seats and cleaned the inside of the truck, finised wiring the CB and worked on getting my strobes mounted in the lights.

    Ok I looked at the fuses in the fuse block under the hood and all the fuses are good I also checked in the fuse panel under the dash and all the fuses in that panel are good. It looks like the fuse block under the hood has had water in it at some point so I dont know if thats causing the problem...

    I am fairly new to the 6.0 but that sounds like a head gasket failure. The early 6.0's had what Ford refers to as Catastrophic Engine Failure that happened on some off the earlier 6.0 engines.

    A regular hole saw can be used to make the hole and the only advice I can make is do it outside or have a fan in a window pushing air outside because when the bit gets hot it is going to stink to high heaven. I learned this the hard way when I remodeled my house.

    Looks like you had fun Bama, I remember camping out in High School and we would use lumber wraps tied to trees as a lee too shelter or sleep under the stars in the beds of our trucks. I will have to do this with my step son to introduce him to camping.

    You may just have a faulty dimmer switch causing you to have no dash lights. I had something like that drive me batty on a car before I found the problem.

    Its a little late but you could have also used a snow plow relay that can be had at just about any parts store.
