Masking tape over where you want the hole, wear safety goggles,[drill a pilot hole], then a good sharp hole saw.. let the hole saw do the work.. Done deal.

its only 1.5 " hole so i will go slow and let the drill do the work


i got more honey do's right now than I can get done :dunno:eek:

You can use a hole saw. Make sure it is very sharp. It is highly recommended that you apply tape over the surface to be cut to avoid chipping. You can also get a solid surface blade for a jigsaw but it sounds like a pretty small diameter hole. Drill speed should be moderate. You want to keep the heet down. Let the drill do the work.

I guess that means that the plasma cutter is out???:innocent

drilled two holes, nice and slow let the chipps curl and in about ten minutes we were through

tg...the list just gets longer at every turn,
at diner tonight we took measurement to have some cabinets made for the dining area ;)

i got to do something about that UGLY tailpipe
