    I was just curious as the thread was talking about trans temps and you started talking about diff covers. I'm sure the cover helped with the diff, but it wouldn't do anything for the trans. Hoopefully you didn't go with the flat style cover. Those have been shown by Currie to be bad for the diffs.

    Pinion seal wont stop leaking

    If it's leaking between the shaft and seal I would check the shaft for wear marks. If the seal has worn any kind of groove it's going to keep leaking. Also make sure your pinion bearing is in good shape. If the shaft wobbles it'll kill the seal.

    I'm not totally sure how these things are set up. But I know with the Cobras sometimes the o-rings connecting the intercooler go bad or the intercooler itself cracks and leaks into the intake. It'll blow white smoke sometimes and cause the coolant level for the intercooler to drop.

    White is coolant. So it would be fuel. I wonder if its building up condensation from the long idle times? Did you check both cooling systems? Make sure it's not coming from the intercooler.

    I just noticed you mentioned the boost pipes. Make sure they're all connected. Possibly one of them slipped off. I'm pretty sure these trucks have a MAF sensor. If it's not detecting air flow the engine won't run.

    That would make me nervous to have a tuned truck and not know who tuned it. For a scanner I have a bluetooth adapter and use the Torque app on my tablet to scan codes and such.

    Key Lock

    Has anyone ever replaced a door lock? Someone used a screwdriver to try and break into my truck. The lock works, but it's all bent up. Can I swap a new one in then call locksmith to have it keyed? Or does the locksmith have to key it before installing it?
