    Ring gear Diameter

    My 97 250 has a 10.25 ring gear. I thought the sd's were all the same 10.50, but have heard otherwise.

    Modification Suggestions

    I would definately put an intake kit on it to get more air into the motor since you plan on running a programmer. Make sure you get some gauges installed also. You seem to have been reading up some info. Thats a great start and good luck with your truck.

    It is very possible to do since it all is fiberglass, but I don't know how Ford handles the crash testing. The steel fenders may be there for a safer truck for the driver. Remember there are crumble zones and fiberglass would be one huge crumble zone.

    I have not paid much attention to prices here in Michigan, but gas is $3.15 and I don't know what diesel is. Too much is all I can say. I totally agree with Max. I see alot more people riding pedal bikes to work now which is not a big suprise since they can't pay for fuel.
