    CCV Fumes............

I kind of got worried when I was going through a road block one day. As I was pulling away, after they checked my I.D. and insurance, I heard a cop yell "hey, stop that truck". Would like to run it through the exhaust so it wouldn't look so suspicious. Probably seems it has increased because...

    Plug in or not?

x2 I haven't gotten around to buying a timer. So I just plug it up before I go to bed. That gives it 8-9hrs on the block heater.

    Programmers

Big Joe, aren't programmers and chips suppose to NOT leave a foot print on the pcm? Thats what I read on a lot of them anyways. You would think they would want us to get better mpg:dunno Of course there are those just blowing fuel out the pipe :D

    Programmers

If it was me with what you are wanting, 1: Stock, 2: Tow, 3: Heavy Tow, 4: Daily, 5: Another Daily/ or Whisper , 6: Smoke I'm happy with my glow shift gauges... $200 off ebay. I'm not sure if too much smoke would mess the engine up or not...I would hope not. Interested in that topic:dunno

    Programmers

A daily driver tune would probably be what you are needing. I was wanting to go with DP but Jody wouldn't re-burn my TS chip. So I'm waiting (impatiently) on my chip to get back from PHP. I asked them before I sent the chip off if they would have enough time to get it done before the holidays...

    Programmers

That's what it comes down too.. My personal choice is a chip because of the SWOF capabilities, custom tuning, and the amount of options you get with a chip vs a programmer. Then again, I'm only speaking from one side....I've never owned a programer.

    TS Chip Not Switching Settings

You need to add a shift kit and you should also upgrade the torque converter before you have to. Edit: dont forget to fill out your signature in the "User CP"...top left of the screen

    TS Chip Not Switching Settings

My TS chip has only 6 pos. Never Heard of a 12 pos...not saying there ISNT one. Just never heard of it. I know DP offers different set-ups, I believe all the way up to 16 pos. Make sure you circuit traces aren't broken.

    Vibration noise

I took mine to the shop....never know how deep the rabbit hole is and if you're preparred or not. Started to try it myself....then I said screw it. I'll pay someone else for this head ache. Wound up having to replace the whole left axle shaft. But someone here said that I could have just...

    Vibration noise

I didn't have any Vibration before my wheel bearings went out....they just went out with little warning at 45 mph. Is there any play in the tire when you have it jacked up. Possibly the u-joint that connects the inboard and out board axle shafts?

    Question Best programmer

High Idle setting... "Ideal for PTO operation or for faster warm-ups; we do not recommend exceeding 1,200rpm for safety reasons"

    Auxilary power Question

Ahh--haaaa...thats what those wires are for. Great to know;tu I have to more stuff to add in the future:stir I'll tie into this wiring for those projects

    Rough Idle when shifting only??

Sounds like a good place to start. Kinda sounds like the tc staying locked...like letting out on the clutch with not enough rpms up to keep from killing the engine.

    Auxilary power Question

You can ground the - cable anywhere that is attached to the frame with a bolt or screw. I like to run my + off the batt's, with an inline fuse, into the cab on a toggle switch...then onto whatever it is I'm wanting to get power to. I have seen some people jam a + wire in with one leg of the fuse...

    boost question

Yea, I was thinking 32psi is pretty high for a daily driver (but what do I know:rolleyes:). I've hit it once or twice when I had my stock exhaust. Could too much boost raise the valves into the piston(s)?

    boost question

I added a boost fooler to the MAP sensor...how much good it does:dunno I did notice a drop in boost (but not power) when I up'ed my exhaust size. I think its because since the diameter of the pipe increased, it deacreased the velocity of the exhaast gas. I've heard of some people plugging...

    02 7.3 issues, not drivable

x2 I've had an issue similar with my 96 F250. It took forever (half a can of starting fluid....it was a desperate situation), even after I had it plugged in for 2hrs. The low that night was about 10*. It ran fine the day before, so I figured just like you it was gelled fuel. I tried running...
