    Sam's idea is what I did in mine and they work great. My pics don't add anything but there are a couple in my pic link. You can get Taurus handles from a junk yard pretty easy.

    WOO HOO! insurance sent me a check for the total minus my $500 deductible!!! They agreed it smelled of vandalism and paid me without any argument. Guess we'll see what they do to me when I renew.... regardless, Im not so far in the hole now! Sadly, the money recouped is already spoken...

    we had a 99 Maxima. Was a great car with never one problem. I would own a diesel version if the engine is sound. My wife now has a Pathfinder. I would kill for that to be a diesel. They do have one just not here.

    as I understand, you have to pull the motor to get to the pan. Am I wrong? Can you do it without? I just dropped a load on my issues, I hate to think what a new oil pan might run. Glad you got it all done.
