well i went to the dealer today and they said I need rear pads but everything else looked good. I asked the service advisor if the rear pads caused the ABS light and he told me that the rear speed sensor had probably went out.
Is this common?
I told him about the cruise and the horn not working and he said something about a coil in the steering wheel controls or steering wheel. Is he correct or is this a BS line?
Just checking some dealers are crooks.

You should do the brakes yourself....& BTW what they are talking about in the column is the Clock spring. They are normally bullet proof ,because it is what controls the juice to the air bag,,,I would look else where for the horn problem first,,,,

well it's rebuilt so if the airbag had went off previously would that have something to do with it?

I don't know if the horn has ever worked, the previous owner is out of town or I would ask him.

He said yes the Horn had worked previously and so did the cruise. He said the horn would go out sometimes, but he did not know the cruise did not work. He said he had used the cruise recently. Sooooooo.................
I would check the fuses but I do not know where a diagram is on the fuse box or cover to see if there is anything out.
Where do I find this info or do I need to go buy a Hayne's manual?

That is doing the brakes myself. It is that much just for pads and rotors all the way around.

I think this thread might help with the rear speed sensor (I didn't read it in minute detail so if not, don't hold it against me...)
