    Frontend shake

A stabilizer will help it from getting totally out of control but doesn't cure it. The factory angles between the track bar which is curved doesn't stay at a close enough angle to the drag link during normal suspension travel and worn bushings and ball joints on both will amplify the problem...

    turbo noise

The egts dont get over 1200 unless I'm pulling a hill and really hammering it. Open road driving it's 1050 to 1100 at 65-70. My crawler has full widths and wouldn't fit plus I don't think my father in-law would appreciate it since it's his trailer. I have a gooseneck deck over that I tow mine...

Question Is there any good 6.o's out there?

The 03 much like the first year of any new engine/vehicle had a ton of bugs to work out. I have an 05 w/68k I've blown up the EGR cooler, and recently lost an injector both probably attributed to my heavy right foot. My uncle has an 03 w/35k and has had a ton of problems and has what felt like...

    newbie here-need some help please

Unless you have a filter that doesn't require oiling like the AEM dry flow. I've found the filters that need oiled have to get dirty before they really start to filter until then they let quite a bit of junk through your filter.

Help Needed Truck running hot need help

You can tell if it's flowing properly by checking the bottle just make sure not to fill past the min mark on the bottle or hopefully you have the sticker on the bottle for proper level.

    turbo noise

When you had your foot in it what was the boost gauge reading? I get more than 30lbs. of boost pulling hills.

    Frontend shake

It's called bumpsteer and happens on lifted trucks all the time. I put a leveling kit on mine and now have to buy the track bar drop bracket to get rid of the minor bumpsteer I have. The reason it happens when towing is you take some of the weight off of the front axle especially with a bumper...

AEM ProGuard 7 OE Replacement filter

I have an AEM brute force intake and it works great best part is you don't have to oil it it filters almost as efficiently brand new as the stock filter and lasts longer than all the others I went almost 40k before I cleaned it. It will definitely allow the turbo to spool faster. I'm not sure...

    turbo noise

Was the high pitch whine happening when you were pulling a hill? I'm jealous that you had the time to go to Moab this year. I went last year and sheared motor mount bolts off in the block the first trail out.

    newbie here-need some help please

I'm willing to bet you have a faulty MAF. How did they reset the MAF? Maybe recalibrated it. I have an AEM intake and have never had an issue. I think the reason they couldn't get an accurate reading before wasn't the intake it was a bad MAF sensor and rather than replace it they sent you on a...

Getting ready for a 3K mile tow w/ 5th wheel

Do you get the same shudder under hard acceleration? If so it's a driveline vibration I get it too along with my father in-law. It's more common for those with a two-piece driveshaft. It's nothing to worry about.

    WTB exhaust and programmer

Elite Diesel engineering is a good place to buy they can custom program an SCT programmer and you can get an exhaust there too but I wouldn't worry about anything over 4". I've got an '05 with a Banks tuner and a 4" exhaust and EGTs are never over about 1150 towing a 15k fifth wheel.

    LEVELING 2008 F250 4x4

This is actually one of the easiest lifts you could ever do. All that you need to do is remove the front wheels and shocks drop the axle down remove the factory rubber spacer and insert the new urethane one. Put new longer shocks back in put your wheels back on.

    anyone runnin 285 75 18s

With a 2" leveling kit (it's just a coil spacer) on your stock rims you should be able to fit a 35x12.50 with no problems. Aftermarket wheels are a different story if you go that route be prepared to unclip the fenderwell liner and move it back up against the firewall to keep it from rubbing. I...

    Coolant and Oil Bypass filter

Ok that's what I got from pictures of where the coolant filter is and all just have to buy longer lines for the oil bypass to put it down on the frame rail. I'm going to buy the billet filler and filter cap with the tops tapped for the bypass and return line. I just hoped to put them all in the...

how many miles do you have on your 6.0ltr

I bought my 05 in april of 06 with 30k it was trouble free to about 52k. I think both problems I've had were from lead foot disease and having an extra 15k for it to haul around. The EGR cooler blew pulling a 6% grade at 75mph but hey it was fun while it lasted. New EGR cooler @52k under...

    newbie here-need some help please

I seriously doubt there's any difference between the one you got. Everywhere I've seen aftermarket filter all list 05-07 including the one that I have. I also have an extra MAF sensor if for some reason you need one.

    Coolant and Oil Bypass filter

Is anyone running both the coolant and oil bypass filters and can you post some pics of where you mounted them. I've seen some really cool places to put the Oil filter but it seems to interfere with where they want the coolant filter mounted. I want to do both but also want them both in easily...

Question Ride Rite air bags with a Super Glide 5th wheel hitch

I have the inside the frame rail bags on my truck because of the brackets on the outside for the reese rails. The only pita is the brackets that sit on the axle tubes. We had to cut off the one of unused tabs to get the bracket on the passenger side rear. They work just the same as the ones that...

2008 F250, wanna run 35's. Best 2 inch or 3 inch lift for moderate budget?

If the 08 250 is like all the 05-07 get a coil spacer in the front and then find an F350 block for the rear they are just under two inches taller. I have the daystar coil spacers found em on ebay for 110 shipped the blocks are sold by just about everyone prices do range considerably though $75...

    anyone runnin 285 75 18s

Isn't 285/75R18 one of the stock sizes? I'm pretty sure that's what was on my truck and the door jamb lists it if I remember correctly.:dunno

buying a 6" lift but best bang for the buck???

Taller blocks put more stress on the springs and then you have to add ladder bars to correct the axle wrap or risk broken pinion yoke ears. Most lift companies offer one spring rate for the 250 and 350 and it's for the 350 but usually with a better ride than the stock spring with the same spring...

    Rear end clunking

I'm willing to bet that the sound is travelling and makes you think it's coming from the rear. Check all your suspension bushings, make sure all of your shocks are good. I had a clunk I hunted down on another vehicle made by those wonderful GM people and what sounded like it was coming from the...
