buying a 6" lift but best bang for the buck???

Ive be looking( 2 years looking) around for a 6" lift kit. Ive got around 1200.00 to spend plus extra $ for the ladder bars-i like the pro comp , Ive seen tuff country, ruff country, super lift, skyjacker etc. i know i want front springs with rear blocks , i don't want to lose my 350 status with 250 springs. I know ride quality will suffer in this price range but its a truck, it sucks already
Which one is the preferred brand of these???.

super lift is nice but pricey, tuff country is your best bet. You should reconsider just blocks in the back. Add a leaf is were it's at. You won't need ladder bars unless you competing in burnout competions.

whats the benifits of rear springs and rear blocks with traction bars

Taller blocks put more stress on the springs and then you have to add ladder bars to correct the axle wrap or risk broken pinion yoke ears. Most lift companies offer one spring rate for the 250 and 350 and it's for the 350 but usually with a better ride than the stock spring with the same spring rate. Go with springs it'll cost about the same as adding ugly ladderbars after buying a blocked kit.

I agree with jpringle83, your putting all that horsepower to you rear axle with tall lift blocks and longer u-bolts your asking for trouble. Add-a-leafs are cheaper but new spring packets would be optuimum if your throwing serious horsepower.
