    Can you just blow these out like we use to blow the filters we ran on our tractors back home? Generally how long do you go in between cleanings on these? I think mine changing our cleaning will be faster than most since I live in West Texas were the dirt likes to blow so bad you can abirly see...

    Transfer Tanks

    The only problem with those combo tool boxes is there is not enough storage room. I could put my jumper cables, and third of my tools in it and it would be full. You cant carry any spray cans for fix its. Wouldn't be able to carry my additives to put in the fuel.

    Glad to hear that she is home. The best rest anyone can get is at home in their own beds. I think that is one reason so may doctors have started doing day surgerys on the things that can be done and does not need to be watched closely. I hope for her fast healing and returning to regular activities.

    CCV mod

    Well I wasn't sure. Just thought that the oil going in might add more problems with leaving carbon deposits on the turbo. I guess this can actually help lubricate the turbo bearing more. or maybe not. Just wasn't sure.

    I am not sure how you ran the wires to do the switch but if you get a wire that can access the switch and you bright wire then connect and see if that works.

    Steering box

    You will probably need a drop pitman arm puller, can be rented. check your hoses and if they look bad, you might replace them too. I just replaced my power steering pump, and both hoses for $100. Never replaced a steering box. But definitely the pitman arm puller.

    electrical question

    Sounds like the hot going to the brights has a bad connection or something. I would say check your connection and continuity, ohm meter. Make sure it is making it to the brights. Just my two cents.

    When I did my exhuast on my 97, just taking the muffler out and putting straight pipe in increased around 2mpg. As far as duals or single it is just a preference. The exhuast still comes out the same one downpipe then splits. Just get a good 4 or 5" exhuast and you will be good. I would think...

    Coolant Filter

    I was looking at the water pump the other day and noticed a plug on the drivers side of the pump. Can you use this spot to put a coolant filter in? I was thinking take the plug out, route it to the filter, then to the hose to the coolant tank line. Does this sound right?
