Hey Hombre;I'm a little older than some of you children, but I remember that first car with very fond thoughts. I was a country boy in East Texas and bought that first one a 1940 Ford Coupe from a "Tote The Note" car lot in Titus County. It cost me $185.00 dollars $25.00 down and $6.00 a week. For a 13 year old working in the local slaughter house it was a heep of money. To relive that memory though all I have to do is look in the garage, I still have that same old Ford today, don't have a clue how I managed to keep it all those years but somehow I did.

Welcome to SDD Hombre. Glad you could join some of us older folks. We have to ride herd on them young-uns.
