my first was a 77 Ford f250 with a 460. then i dropped a 429 into it after blowing up the 460....when the 429 got tired, put in a 1969 351w(around 350hp)pretty quick then, for what it was.....my first vehicle that i purchased was 1975 Ford f150 sb 4x4. it had a 1968 390(which was mildly tweaked...:sly)....it had a 4sp, 10 inches of lift and 40 inch mudders....almost cried when i sold this truck, it was awesome....first vehicle i drove was a mid 70`s toyota. it was my dads car that i bombed around in the fields at the young age of 8....pretty much how i learned to drive....:thumbs

First truck was a 92 gmc sonoma extended cab with the 4.3 vortec v6. Fast little truck for 4000 lbs. Had a stereo that would bounce a bottle off the roof. So if there was two chicks one had to ride the armrest.

he he... Powerslide... first automatic trans I ever rebuilt.

the REAL old ones, with the rear pump, were the only automatic you could tow start a car with...

I never had to rebuild the transmission, but you are correct about the rear pump and the push starting. That got everybody thinking that you can push start any automatic, but that is not true.
