I have got a 99 f-450 and when i am driving the truck i can here it sucking in air louder than normal when i accelerate. And blowing out air louder than normal when i decelerate. Is that normal because of the weather it is colder here probably the coldest it has been all winter. I am here in south texas and we dont experience cold weather that often. Probably about five days out of the year. It is about 32 degrees here i know i know lol. Thanks ahead of time for the help.

It's more than likely the EBPV (exhaust back pressure valve) helping warm the engine. Completely normal.

Yes, if it is cold it's most likely your EBPV just doin it's job to warm up the truck faster. Does it stop making the "noise" when the truck warms up?
