I am looking at purchasing a 1999 7.3 reg cab diesel with 150,000 miles on it. I was wondering what maintenance I can expect to preform. I just need to know everything that needs to be done to the truck ever month or every other month?

Thanks,

Colby

:welcome to the sight colbyjenner. Just make sure you keep the oil serviced and have it changed regularly. Change your fuel filter about every 15,000 miles. Make sure the SCA level in the anti-freeze is within limits. This is an additive that keeps cavitation down in the engine block. Any other questions, just get on here and ask.:sweet :sweet

I bought mine at 172k, it now has 196k. Just recently I had to replace balljoints and while I was in did axle seal, hub o-ring, and vacuum seal (for ESOF truck). I change the oil every 5k, but have never checked the SCA...maybe I should. Welcome to the site.

MIGHT BE A DUMB QUESTION BUT HOW WOULD U CHECK THE SCA.
Just look at some of the sponcers of this sight. Or go to Diesle Injection Service.com. They will have test strips that you can buy and the SCA additives that you need.
