He finally located a vendor that has the right socket in stock,not much of a high demand for it otherwise it'd be on every shelf like oil filters

That is where I normally have to go, all the OTHER parts stores don't have/know ANYTHING! Figures!

Lack of experience, lack of the right tools(trying to make the wrong ones work), waiting on transportation, multipule trips to three different parts stores and one mechanic friend, 100 degree heat, etc, etc, etc made for a very long day.

7:30am to 5:30pm and the job is done.
