95,

I did it to mine and it seemed to make the steering less effort yet still provided good feed back (unlike the caddy steering). I took the line off that is the return (I think) on the steering pump and drilled the existing hole that is in the line (end that goes into the pump) 1 size over the current size. (of course suffering from beyond middle age memory) so not sure of the actual drill index size. Anyways that +1 size over stock didn't make a big difference so went one more size up and it does make a significant dif (I think) and yes I would do it again. Now as to the location of which line hmmm will run out to the old wreck and have a look and let you know. As I recall I did access it from the wheel well, was an easy mod to do and I also changed the fluid too. It only takes a few minutes to do....

Hey 95_stroker,

Went outside and suddenly remembered   the fitting you are looking to drill oversize is in the plastic housing on the actual power steering pump. Yeesh not at all accessed from the wheel well...sorry.....I have put up a couple of pictures and explanation on my web pics in the link below under truck pics.....again I still can not remember the actual drill size but I just used (in the end) second size up from stock hole size. Did a search at TDS for the drill size as that is where I got the info and idea from but was not able to come up with anything.......

You may wish to start with one size drill bit over stock hole size try that and then go from there....Let us know how you make out....
