It isn't that they don't all come with a cord, mine doesn't even have the block heater. Verified at the garage, no cord, no heater in the block.

I've never heard of a 6.0 without the heater being factory installed. What is installed in your block where the heater would usually be located? Mine came with the heater, no plug. Another smart idea from ford.:doh:

When I bought the 06 the dealership said there was like 7 states that the heater came as standard eq. To bad they found my truck in Omaha for me so no heater. At least that was their explaination.

Hello everyone! I think I remember seeing power cords on E-Bay for around $20 brand new. Just do a search under Superduty or Powerstroke and you'll find them. :thumbs

Regular plug where it should have been, ho heater element, no cord.

I have a 2005 with a 2004 engine. So where is my heater?

What's in the place where the heater normally is on the 6.0 - Just above the starter?????? There must be something there or you would have an empty hole.
