Well it's been pretty cold here, and my truck didn't come with the power cord. So this morning I thought I'd better track one down cause the high is suppose to be 13 the next coupla day's, so I called about 10 local ford dealer's and got price's from $64 to $81, some had them and some said they was on back order, well we have a International commercial truck dealer close by so I figured what the hell I called them up they said they had some but I had to see if it was the same plug, so I headed there, carrying a pic I printed off the net, and sure as **** they had one, the best thing is, it cost me $13.10 , they about **** when I told them Ford wanted $81. So if anyone's looking for a cord find a local International dealer, and have them hook you up.

That doesn't surprise me. There isn't a thing on these engines that can't be got for less from an International dealer than what Ford will try to take you for. There are a few Ford parts on-line places where you can save a chunk of change.

Case in point, I just recently got a new accelerator pedal from powerstrokeshop.com for about $106. The parts counter at the local stealership wanted like $190 something for the same piece. I didn't catch the exact price, all I heard was "One Hundred Ninety" and I started blowing Pepsi out my nose.
