how many miles do you have on your 6.0ltr

80*** on it.. ordered it in 05 small oil leak on top of trans.. couple recals.. and 1 egr valve at 70k been running great. thought about putting cummins in it.. but decided against it. i run rotella 15/40 motorcraft oil filter every 5k and racor fuel filters every 15k

75,000 miles on a 06. power steering pump replaced day one from the factory, rear caliper and rotor that was destroyed at 40,000 miles. I run amsoil 15W40 changed at 10,000 mile intervals, change the air filters every 30,000 and fuel filters every 10,000.

sounds like most of us are doing pretty good on our 6.0ltrs. It is a far cry from where it came from in 03. Thanks for the replys. Keep on trucking in the best truck in america FORD!!!!

just turned 75k yesterday. many early problems associated w/ this truck. all have been fixed at dealer and have had NO motor issues since about 45K.
turbos, egrs, injectors, head gaskets, exhaust gaskets, new pcm, map, maf, ficm, egr cooler, oil leaks, brakes, ball joints, wheel bearings, sway bar bushings/links... don't let me scare you cuz i still love this truck - obviously - or i got hit in the head at some point......
oil changed at either 5 or 10k (blackstone tested), fuel at around 15k and air at around 25k.

2 EGR valves, 1 at 60000km, and 1 at 90000 km
New PCM at 500km

Mine is on the verge of 162,000.
My list of things I have had to have done to it, but it should not discourage one from
buying a 6.0. Some of the stuff was my own fault, like the tranny. Surely no one remembers that.
Ball joints
3 EGR cooler replacements (2 under warr, 1 out of warr.)
1 transmission (4wd HI launches are a bad thing on a stock 5R110)
On the 3rd turbo (1st. one started to have play in it around 110,000, I don't know what happened to the second one, I think it was bird strike)
New FICM Jan. 08
New front axle seals, inner seals, new 4wd hubs, sway bar bushings, sway arm links (I think thats whatcha call 'em)
Head studs installed in Aug of '07
There may be some more stuff, but it's making my head hurt to try and think of it.
All in all, I LOVE MY TRUCK!

I am the second owner of the truck and its getting the original turbo replaced at 127K. It had 126K on it when I picked it up in November and the dealer had the truck for 3-1/2 weeks or it would have more miles on it.
