Take a look in HERE and scroll to the bottom for the codes. Not sure if all are listed for the 6.0L.

So what is a code that is not on there?
I have a P2287 code, what is that?

Also, if I have the P0404 and the P0405 codes what is that telling me, the EGR is going bad?

It is going in on Tuesday to get the wiring harness replaced.

Thanks

P2287 Injector control pressure sensor circuit intermittent.

Resolving the codes with the 6.0 I can't be of help with,perhaps one of the savvy will chime in:sweet

====================================================
System Grouping: Manufacturer Specific
----------------------------------------------------------
P2287 = Injector Control Pressure (ICP) Sensor Circuit Intermittent

====================================================
System Grouping: Auxiliary Emissions Controls
----------------------------------------------------------
P0404 = Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Circuit Range/Performance
P0405 = Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Sensor A Circuit Low

=====================================================

Looks to me like at a minimum youve got a malfunctioning EGR Valve
I'd start w/ replacing it (or unplugging it) 1st and then I'd clear the
codes and drive it, see if the ICP codes pop up again.

the 03 6.0L has the ICP in a hard to reach place (back side of the
engine, under the turbo as i recall)...i wouldnt be surprised if you
the ICP is failing due to heat or chafe melting wiring.

did you ever have the wiring harness TSB/Recall performed ?

i know on an 04 with egr disconnected it will not show a CEL, but i thought it would still have a code.
i've been running with my egr disconnected for several weeks, and i checked my ecm for codes today and there were none. !!

good for me i guess

acutally if its a CALIFORNIA (CARB) truck it will illuminate the light
if you have egr codes or disconnect the egr valve.

in your particular case i SUSPECT your tuner is preventing the egr codes
from being stored.
