he got them from rose wood diesel. they are nice, i am wanting a set myself. does anybody know for sure that my 97 would have split shots if its rated at 225hp rather than 215 on the valve cover? james thought so, and i have never had the covers off to look at the codes to tell for sure.

look under your turbo pedistal and see if you see a thing that looks like the USS enterprise,shown in this picture:

Nope. Splitshot came about with the Super Duty.98 engine year and up.

split shots are found in 97 trucks with california emissions.you can look for the enterprise looking thing like i said above or look at the tag on the valve cover.if it says "california emissions"on it you have splits,if it dont say "california emission" you have singles.
