I don't care for the commercial focus that has replaced the real meaning of Christmas.

Just got back from town, had to get different front rotors for the truck (delivered the wrong ones) thought to grab a cable at Radio Shack. It was hilarious, people driving in SLOW circles waiting for a parking spot to open up.
I just parked on the other end of the lot, marched over to the store, grabbed what I needed and headed for the countryside.

It's a whole lot better out here

Went to Home Depot to pick up a few more Christmas lights. [insert voice] That's nice Clark, REAL nice [insert] and was in and out in 5 minutes.

Dang lemmings! I wouldn't be caught dead in a mall today. Heard on the radio that one large mall actually offered valet parking for $5.

That's one morning I avoid but the wife does make it out the door about 5-6am toting hot coffee to get in on the specials
