Went hunting. I got a doe, my buddy gat a small buck and a doe. We were both done by 0730. Skinned and meat on ice by 1100. Home by 1330, nap, out with the family to go cut down a Christmas tree / hay ride. A full day of Americana!
Tail Gunner, I couldn't agree with you more about the missing meaning of Christmas. We are already starting with our 3yo son about the REAL meaning behind Christmas and the Lord's gift to us.

Well I ventured out for a new 20" iMac and at 8:00am you couldn't get in the computer store, at 9:45 this is what I looked like: -mad -mad

All I did was go to the Ford shop and got the PSD's oil changed, got dog food at Petco, and dog medicine at the vet's. Also went with wife to Hobby Lobby, it was pretty busy, but not much busier than any other day.

Robert, did you go to the Lowe's at Lindale? That seems to be a NICE one. I've been to the Wal Mart but haven't gone inside that Lowe's yet.

we finally ventured out yesterday afternoon around 4:30, and it wasn't too bad. we went to Lowe's and looked around and wound up buying an electric fireplace for the living room.

it kinda gives the living room a more homey feeling, keeps it good and warm too.

Yeap, I was at the Best Buy in Denton(Wife's Family lives up there) at 4:30AM.

THE LINE WAS AROUND THE WHOLE BUILDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT...............................

After waiting 1 hour just to get in.

I SCORED A 22" LCD for the computer fro $200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DAMM, Just hooked it up tonight, THIS THING IS NICE!!!!!!!!

And it was the last one in the BUILDING!!! WOO HOO!!!!

It was worth the wait

Mother in Law scored a NICE $250 19" Wide Screen Samsung LCD for $130!!!!

I hooked it up, and that thing is nice too

All in all, it was worth it

screw those stupid stores on friday. Went into the mountains and cut firewood. No people to bother us. Left over Turkey sandwich's. all in all a perfect day.

We did alot of shopping with mom and the wife this weekend. Didn't go anywhere near the malls. Hit some real nice shopping centers in the town where mom lives. Almost no crowds...........

I did pick up another 20" LCD TV to use as a computer moniter/2nd tv for the war room. It matches the primary unit on the right. Merry Christmas to me........
