'99 Ford F350 7.3L Powerstroke

I am having problems with my truck. First it skips when I first start it up (cold or hot). Smokes and I also have diesel fuel in my coolant. Any suggestions? Thank you

Ouch, that sounds bad. My first guess is a bad head gasket/cracked head or block. diesel in the coolant is not good. My guess is the miss on startup is coolant leaking into one of the cylinders after you shut it off. Probably better get the compression checked in all the cylinders to know for sure.

Fuel in the coolant is more than likely injector sleeves.

Not the worst that could happen, but one huge PITA to be sure

I took injector out and pressurized coolant system and saw leak in the injector sleeve, that was the problem. Thanks

I installed new injector sleeve and o rings on injector put all back together runs worse.Is there something i did wrong or forgot.

it takes a good 50 to 100 miles to work all the air out of the fuel and oil rails..does it start ok??

Run the daylights outta it for 50 or so miles, if you can get on the freeway and do 75 mph, all the better.
