3-4 Month Road Trip (maybe more)

On the 14th of July we're guna start out. The plan is.. There is no [REAL]Plan. Albuquerque then North, go North'ish to Neb. (Friends) Mich. U.P then lower Mich. (in-laws), Then up-state N.Y. (daughter) on to Maine (colors), then South'ish thru D.C. (Smithsonian), The whole Smokies thing, W. Va (Friends), Fla (Disney World & Key West) then Ky. (friends) and then ........

This will all be done with many side trips, staying in areas we find interesting for a week or two (maybe longer) if we wana.

Get'n the 2K & 5'r ready by do'n a COMPLETE & TOTAL.. oil, filters, Fluids, lubes'n grease, Tire balance, Alignment.. Starting tomorrow, Bumper to Bumper.

Kinda plan on doing that along our way. I'd liketa put a face'n a hand shake to a log in name. Got a Lap Top & Printer set up in the 5r, guna log in now'n then, learn how to post pics'n post a few..

Wife's last day at work is tomorrow. We've made Many, Many.. Coast to Coast trips and traveled this Great country a lot, through the years. But the trips always had an End Date. We've saved'n planned for this for a long, long time.. By God, We're Guna Do It. NO END DATE.

Sounds like your plan is what we were doing. 250 miles per day or around 3 p.m.

I hope the weather is good to you, and you do not have any family problems.

I have the same plan. My family and I are laoding some ATV's in our horse trailer and heading across the country. We do not care how long it takes. That will by my treat when I get home. Be sure to share any lessons learned druing your trip.
