    Update Well, the truck is gone. It was head gaskets. Ford said that truck had been in the shop several times for coolant loss and no start problems. I guess somone used some block sealer or somthing to get rid of it. Anyways, the car lot took it back and i got into a 05 gmc sierra duramax...

    Well it went to the ford dealer today. Car lot i bought it from is kina taking care of it for me. I have no warranty as it was a "as is" sale. But they are being real cool about the whole thing. I really hope its not to major. HG's are cheap but its the labor that will kill you.

    Oil is full. Ill check on the 6.0 bible. Maybe it is just a sensor but i would think a code would appear?

    Yea my buddies metioned that one also as they knew some trucks to just shut off going down the road and not crank back up!

    No codes in the eec. Nor was there a engine light when it ran like crap and died at the light. A buddy of mine talked to a ford service manager and he said 1 of 2 things will cause what happened to me. 1, head gaskets 2, egr cooler or whatever leaking or blown... And buy the way, 4k...

    Well i would say it could be a hundred different things that might cause this problem im having with the truck. BUT,,,, where did the coolant go? Why was it sprayed all over the the engine? This is why i think im really screwed.....

    Thank you..... Yea a guy from work was almost positive i sucked air from the tank being as low as it was. He was scooling me all day on diesels and how they will blow white smoke if you starve them for fuel!!!??? I bought it from just a car lot dealer."as is" of coarse. I dont blame the car...
