Help Needed Heater control dial restriction

Hopefully ZERO :innocent I had a pen drop in there back in '03  and paid my mechanic to fish it out. He removed the glove box but not any of the dash. He went waaaaaaaay up from in there but I didn't watch what he did. This time I hope to figure it out but if not I'll just bring back to...

Help Needed Heater control dial restriction

The heat control dial moves freely from the very cold to warm settings but if I try to turn the dial to the hottest setting I feel a restriction in the dial. Question What did you do to your truck today?

My coolant reserve tank (degas bottle) developed a hairline crack that I was unable to patch so I ordered a new one...and a new cap as well.

Question What did you do to your truck today?

Changed the upper and lower radiator hoses then added new green low silicate coolant and some RMI-25. Whether it needed it or not for a truck with 322K miles I thought it was a good idea. The old hoses were soft but not cracked.

    Jack Stands

The harbor in Harbor Freight is the Port of Los Angeles. Most everything they sell was made in China. That should tell you enough about trusting your life under their jack stands.

    6637 installed this evening

Replacing the stock down pipe in addition to an open air filter element makes the difference. Big air in...big air out.

Question Converting a Calif to Federal? (fuel damper delete)

I forgot about Dieselsite's CPR system. That would certainly solve his problem and a whole lot less money than changing injectors, changing the pedestal and changing his PCM. If he does go this route (like Tx_atty just did) I will be envious all over again.
