    Somebody's Getting.....

It's not my truck.:tounge It's someone that had his CPS go out recently and has only felt the power of a tuner once on his truck. He'll be running Bill's programs via the Evo that we worked a trade for.:D Tcat....sorry your CPS went out....and sorry no more goodies headed your way from...

    Loud Squeel Noise Under Dash

Welcome to SDD!:sweet Could it be a boost leak? Do you have gauges? ANy performance loss? Once when I left the orange boots on the plenums completely loose they would sound like a high pitched squeal at high boost levels. Didn't do it at low boost levels.

Your lucky you weren't staring at cotton fields last weekend waiting on AAA! :D

    Range for fuel pressure

Glad to hear you're keeping the FP gauge!:sweet Down to 25psi on the OBS's normal?? WOW! I would never let go of that truck if it were me! You have a VERY nice OBS rig!:thumbs Drive it til the tires fall off then put them back on, that's what I plan on doing!:D

    Installed CCV kit......

The turbo shaft gets pressurized oil from the pedistal. The oil vapors from the CCV are not for lubraication. Yes it's been done with the AFE intake system.

    Fluid on engine top?

The oil vapors from the CCV will cause the oily boots. It's normal until you've done a CCV mod like what's in the WIKI HERE by Tbar. Once the stock boots are oil soaked you get what you have seen in the valley. Now if it smells like fuel then you have other problems. This is what my...

    Lets see whats next?

If you don't have surge problems with your current turbo set up, leave it. Do the regulated return. IMO.
  9. roosterdiesel

    Fluid on engine top?

Have you done a CCV mod? If not then check the orange boots on the plenums going to the cylinder heads. If they are oily the fluid is prolly oil.

    Truck Jerks, and Stall's

It's a possibility.:dunno You may also want to inspect the wiring going to the CPS. 0470 and 0478 maybe dirty EBP sensor or plugged tube. 1211....so you have a chip, prorammer or ICP mod? 1249...do you have it electrically disconnected?

    2002 Powerstroke NO START

Smoking GPR....not good...find out what's causing that. White smoke out the tailpipe means you are getting fuel out of the injectors but the GPs are not hot enough to get the fuel ignited, back to the smoking GPR. You could try jumping the GPR, with the key off, take a set of jumper...

    Needs to be LOUDER

Welcome to SDD!:sweet Sorry to tell you but the 7.3 PSDs don't have BOVs. There's no throttle plate to slam 20+ lbs of boost against like in a gasser. BD diesel makes a BOV for diesels but it's a race only piece for those trucks running 50+ lbs of boost like the compound turbo'd...

    Fuel system install question

    Snap-on has the 9/32's square. I used a 5/16ths 8-point(double square) with no problems.

    weird "hiccup"

$89.98 + tax. I know someone that works there, they wanted $110 IIRC, he cut me a deal. "375548" is the engine serial number, I don't remember what year the change is, not sure really what the change is either.

    weird "hiccup"

:roflmao ....DT's:roflmao I'm workin on it Peter! When my CPS went out it hiccupped a couple times one week, the next week it died twice in a row. Restarted both times, good thing I was pulling into parking lot at work. Pulled codes and got the CPS code. I replaced it after work with...

    New Fuel

I believe the official date was Oct.15, at least that's what the news said Sunday. We've had ULSF since around August. I don't believe LSF is available anymore, for highway use at least. I don't worry about the sulfur though, I'm running B20.:sweet

    BDP High Performance turbo

No:sorry , my turbo will be modified with no warranty because I will be reusing my current housings. His will have a 1 year warranty if you pay full price. From my understanding, it's supposed to around half the cost of an H2E kit.

    BDP High Performance turbo

Talked to Bean this morning! Looks like I've got nine things to send to him now, 8 injector cores to be worked and a turbo. Now if I could only come up with a name for a discount!:D

    tuner question.

If you talk to any of the programmers, they'll say run the J/A in stock. Timing will change with the ICP mod. You can still use the Attitude monitor for gauges.

    tuner question.

Some where around 10/00 build date is the change over. Some have even reported seeing engines with both forged and PMR's mixed around that build date. You need to check out the block inspection hole to be for sure. PMR inspection hole instructions THe J/A is just a fancy ICP mod. It...

I might have you a fix here by the end of next week!:D After my cousin's '03 7.3L had 3 injectors replaced because of bad fuel a couple weeks ago, my dad's coming around. He asked how much a bulk load would be and what kind of tank we needed to get. He's not gonna run the B99 but has...

    fpr shim?

I don't know who you talked to at TS but it must not have been Dennis Perry! Chips don't raise fuel pressure. READ HERE for a thread with more explanation. BTW, we don't have an injection pump.

Which has more turbo whistle? ww & ats, or BB turbo?

Yes please.:sweet Scar13....at 3-4psi my setup is not extremely loud. But at 6-7 is a different story, there's a spot there that sounds good. Over that it's loud but 6-7 seems to be where the turbo drowns out engine noise, above that more engine noise is apparent. At 70-75mph...
