    I'd tend to agree with that. I have an old, half-empty jug of DEF at the shop, and it's got urea crystals all around the neck of the container from where the carrier fluid has evaporated. So my conclusion would be to just drive it, unless you are going to subject the truck to sub-freezing temps...

    What we used to do.. is shim the spring in the regulator to yield about 75 psi fuel pressure. Any less, they ran squirrely. Any more didn't seem to make a difference. The common method was to put a BB under the spring. Some guys said that yielded too much pressure. I can't remember who it was...

    I don't think you're going to get the line back in it far enough. I think you're going to end up replacing the pump. Don't try to glue it. It might hold for a minute, but it's under exactly one butt ton of pressure.

    IIRC.. compress the damper, and turn the steering wheel all the way to the left.. where the shaft ends.. there's your mount point.

    New PS pump & high pressure line.. line was leaking like a sieve, and blew apart as soon as I touched the fitting with a wrench. The pump was a "JFB." Was OEM with 230,000 miles on it. I gotta find some body parts. We bought a new horse trailer this week, so Whitey is just gonna have to make do...

    You probably have tried this already, but did you do a Google search? I think Stealth is belly-up, but there is a diesel shop in Missouri (Diesel Performance Plus? I think?) That still had them listed on their website.

    Just because you can't feel any lash doesn't mean it's not there. .007 is only about two sheets of notebook paper thick. If it really concerns you, maybe figure out some way to slip a hunk of Plasti-gage in there when you mock it up.

    ABS, speedo & overdrive flashing might come down to a problem with the sensor in the pumpkin. I've also seen a lot of wires break inside the insulation at the connector (I think my truck has this malady right now). But if it did NOT do it before it rained, I agree with the post above this one...
