Yes, I did search the other posts and couldn't find anything that was close to what I have going on.
So I have a 2002 F250 7.3 stock everything apart from the interior.
I just was headed to the grocery store and when i looked at my truck i saw a little bit of a spot under it. Figured maybe it was a combo of water since it just rained and maybe a bit oil no biggie.
So i left and stopped at the gas station to fill up while filling up I noticed about a 3-quart puddle forming and drips leading to me. I stopped and headed home about 1 mile. On the way, there it started to lose part and smoke but that stopped and it made it home backed in great.
Put a board under the truck and about 3 more quarts were there within 2 mins. The heavy flow of liquid gold slowed down to a drip and I got under to wipe it all down and find the leak or hole that I was expecting.
After wiping down I did the investigation, I found the valley on top has a few puddles of oil sitting there, outside of that nothing on the valve covers top or side, nothing on the front of the motor, and nothing higher than the puddle so nothing on the hood or anything. I climbed under again and the passenger side seems to have all of the oil on that area. There were a few drips here and there driver side but i took the corner into my community like I was at Daytona trying to hopefully not lose power and have to push this struck home.
I looked at the dipstick oil ring and its not leaking and I doubt it could leak onto the top of the engine, the oil drain is fine no drips after wipe down, the oil pan gasket is good no leaks after wipe down, the lines all look in good shape, I don't see any hoses hanging, I don't see any leftover Prius parts where I may have run one over by accident. I pulled the dip stick and it is low now which would make me think it's not the Diesel Fuel/dirt issue I've seen people talk about. If anyone has any ideas, help or hints I could really use it so I can get to work on Monday and before one of our allies tries to invade my garage with the amount of oil on the floor.
