    i took the gauge off. I just used it to see where i was at to start. I am going to buy a gauge next week when i get paid.Can i leave it at 75 or is that bad for the truck? being an oil gauge it may be off. I doubt it its a nice autometer. I will do a oil gauge andmount it nder hood next week...

    their is a module in the distributor that must be good, they can go bad, If i remember correct your dist had a module. Would act as if coil went bad, check for spark at the plug? If it has spark its not the module.

    i know how to bleed them, start from farthest away and proceed to closest. But how do you flush? just let it all run out first? Also, can a pad be thick but yest not allow itself to stop well? maybe glazed over or something? No pulling or pulsating?

    slip joint

    yes, these driveshafts bolt to the trans rear and to the rear end. It has to slide somewhere to allow for suspension travel. I sprayed mine and its fixed. i will grease it but its good to know what it was.

    this issue is on an 02 excursion, so no carrier bearing. i am giving this to my wife, i wanted to fix things first. i would not think a slip joint could clunk but you never know? thx
