Out line on the coolant filter does it go to the overdlow tank?Is it overflow on this truck or do I have a degas like a 6.0?
I am just asking what line do i tap into for an inline an where does the out line go to?

Go to www.dieselsite.com and take a look at Bobs install instructions for a Coolant Filter..

Installing the filter in-line, in a heater hose, isn't a good idea.. IMO.

Coming out of the water-pump.. thru the filter.. then back into the de-gas bottle IS.

I agree with Joe!
Here is a picture I took during install, the barb fitting for the outlet from the filter goes back into the degas tank (it tee's into the original line). The barb fitting toward the rear of the filter is the supply coming from the water pump jacket. I don't have a good picture of the bypass line but the Dieselsite writeup is good. If you look close you can also see the shutoff valves that are optional on both barb fittings.

One note, to get the plug out of the water pump jacket requires a square fitting of an odd size like around 5/16". I ended up using a piece of bar stock, ground to fit, and a vice grip. I've also heard you might get a 1/4" drive to work?
