    Personally I would not run an oil w/ Slick 50 in it. The 6.0L depends on specific oil and oil properties. Too much risk for oil additives to cause problems. Glad things are better for you.

    I agree - the reflash of the processors really does help!! Also, you can check your FICM voltage - if it is under 47 V, there are many posts on various forums on how to fix it yourself (re-flowing the solder in several key areas).

    Possibly low fuel pressure since it is at the end of the fuel rail. The fuel pressure regulators often times need the spring replaced (or shimmed). A fuel pressure gauge is a VERY handy thing to have.

    Drive the truck and get it warm. Park on a downslope (front end lower than the back end). pull the EGR valve and see if there is coolant in the intake.

    It is not wise to drive much w/ a leaking EGR cooler. It could hydrolock the engine. The EGR cooler failure probably comes from a plugged oil cooler (coolant side). They both need replacing. Also - do not use a block sealer - won't help, could cause other problems.
