try calling your local Internatioal dealer, i know some of the DT466 cac hoses had a spring steel coil around them to keep them together, wonder if something like that would work?

got my new afe filter from DPPI:sweet but, i'm not sure how it goes in. the guy at DPPI said to hollow out my stock housing???maybe i'm just not getting it...anybody know how i need to do this...mark...:confused:

i have an 04 with a 6.0 and a friend of mine has a 2wd duramax and get less mpg than my ford, plus they only get 6.5 to 7.5 mpg with a 2 horse trailer. i always get around 18 mpg around town. plus i think the ford has a bigger back seat.:sweet
let me revisit this wire around the hose thing...i am the maintence supervisor at penske truck rental and i'm around diesels all day...most are alot bigger than my 6.0 but i'm seeing those wires around alot of hose. monday when i go back to work i'll get a number...i know the comp. name is...

:sweet my wife to the truck down to the dealer today...got the computer flashed, and they fixed my coolant leak, it was a clamp...right off the bat i noticed it idled smoother. i think it has to relearn my driving style:burnit but definately better:thumbs
