    Sounds like the ICP sensor. The truck needs to have a scanner on it. Check ICP, IPR, RPM, Fuel PW, and EGR. That's were I would start there are a lot more values to check. I think you'll find the answer with these 5. Any more problems just let me know what the specs were.

    2005 6.0 No Oil Pressure on Start and Dies Immediately

    Sounds like the high pressure fitting on the back of the high pressure oil pump. If it hasn't already been replaced. If it has they need to dead head. (block of high pressure oil from left and right then read the pressures) Could be injectors, oil log, or 8 different o-rings. Hope that helps.

    I agree Ford recalled all them trucks for the new a great CPS sensor they look cheep. They for sure drop the price from I think a 100 to 40. I still have a few old style ones and no problems. My recall they just gave me the sensor I didn't want it put in. It's behind the seat.

    Anything is possible but never seen low batts hurt a FICM. The EGR is simple to try and free just disconnect the wire on top it will stay closed. I have seen lot's of intermittent problems with EGR's and it will do what you are saying is going on. For your low batts you need to load test them...

    That was a short in what they call V-ref. I would agree the Cam sensor. At the dealer it shouldn't cost more then $40 for the sensor. A 10 mm wrench or socket passenger side front. The only thing else I can think of is the EBP sensor. That can be disconnected and the truck will go into fault mode.

    It sounds like a intermittent EGR sticking I've seen lot's of them a simple thing to do is to disconnect the wiring at the EGR the light will come on but will go into fault mode drive it if the truck never has a problem again it's the EGR valve and you don't need it until it's time for emissions...
