    directed electronics yes, they have many brands. its probably a remote start unit, valet brand like the one in the link i sent. try to find the local shop that installs the valet brand and you are in business.

    you sure about the 450 reading? is the gauge good? what does the manufacturer set the holding pressure to? if in doubt, check the tank for a stamp in the metal stating complies with asme code and rated psi. do you NEED anything over 125?

    $300-$600 for the motor and another $150 on the controls. its not worth it. by the time you get done swapping out the motor and the controls to single phase, you are going to drop as much if not more to pull the circuit.

    that is not really correct. with single phase service from the pole, you get 2 legs of 110V power that are 2 out of the 3 in the 360, or 120 degrees apart, not 180. think about it. that is how/why we can combine neutrals.

    um, jr, did you replumb the tranny lines back into the bottom of the radiator when you upgraded the trans cooler? then theoretically, yes, you water pump issues >could< affect it if you are not efficiently moving coolant through the radiator. regardless, change your water pump.

    bob's valve is nice, but the $9 one for any year ranger or explorer works just as good too. i dont even bother hooking up the vacuum line, i just wire it shut/open for late spring to late fall. 6-no's and 7.3's benefit from the bypass valve.

    read the injector R&R wiki you need to read up on how these injection systems work. sniffing the valve cover / oil cap would work with a trained nose but not if you don;t know what you are sniffing for.

    you need to get your hands on a code reader to see if you can communicate with the pcm.

    did you COMPLETELY follow the instructions? check your batteries? really. you did disconnect them right? are you sure the connector on the back of the PCM is seated correctly and fully?
