    If I hit the brake pedal hard and let off as quickly it will cancel the Cruise. Just trying to easily slow down with presure on the brake does not disengage it. Daveben, it can be cancelled with the control buttons on the steering wheel.

    low range selector

    Put the gear selector in Neutral, put your foot on the brake and hold the brake, then turn the selector off of low range. It will turn off. :sweet
