    Welcome! Old school Ford diesels are always welcome. Agreed with OB has more info about the IDI's. Im on that site too and not as much info about our superduties on there. Thats why Im mainly here. I go there every now and then to see whats goin on. Its also a great site on ANY of the Ford trucks.

    Exhaust gettin loose? The exhaust could be resting on somethin like that heat shield or the transfer case and that will feel like yer front end is goin bad. Seat of yer pants vibration.

    Coolant temp question

    Since its gettin cooler up there you think maybe its because the engine doesnt get as hot cause of outside temps? In the winter my trans temp gauge doesnt even move even when its warmed up. One thing I dont like about my stacks, doesnt fit in the garage anymore unless I want to lower my stacks haha.

    Yea I wouldnt want to either unless ya have a nice heated shop or somethin and another vehicle to fall back on. Thats why I seem to NEVER get rid of my vehicles haha. Which one will I drive today???..........hmmmmmmmmmmmm haha

    There ya, go just drop a cummins in it. You obviously like yer old truck since you kept it so long and you dont like the new trucks. Update yer current ride then. As long as my ole 99 doesnt rust out bad, I would probably rebuild the 7.3 or just drop in a cummins. Alot cheaper than droppin 30k...

    Bad CPS? That will kill a powerstroke. Such a small sensor that can ruin your day. Easy fix too. Dont buy aftermarket, get the one from ford or international. I keep one in my glove box just in case. And a 10mm wrench.

    I'd go with a 265 or 285. BUT with an 18in rim yer gonna be payin more for them. I would probably find some stock 16's or aftermarket 16's and get the 265's or 285's. I have stock rims with 285 75r 16's and I like that size. Not to big and not to small. If you want aftermarket i would check...

    ticking time bomb?

    Could be the injectors makin a lil bit of noise since it sits and the oil drains out of them? I assume they have oil goin through the injectors to run them or are they electronic??I know the 2011's are common rails.
